At Filitheyo you can experience one of the most beautiful spas in the Maldives. The jungle spa is nestled in the heart of the island, surrounded by lush foliage and stunning tropical gardens. Surrounded by verdant vegetation and exotic birdsong, the spacious air-conditioned spa treatment rooms have glass walls on three sides. From here you can take in the spectacular views and discover an array of treatments. Alternatively, you can have your treatment in the open air, under the shade of a pagoda.

Treatments include the signature 90-minute Filitheyo Fusion massage which combines the best of five international massage techniques to stimulate the body’s energy flow. The Hot Stone Massage is a popular choice involving the use of gently-heated basalt stones, inducing a deep sense of comfort and relaxation. Thai massage can be performed in the open-air pavilion, using traditional techniques and gentle stretches to help rejuvenate your body. Conclude your treatment with a refreshing drink of ginger tea in the al fresco relaxation area followed by an open-air shower in the private garden.

Filitheyo is one of the finest resorts in the Maldives for diving, offering both an excellent house reef and exciting boat diving. Around Faafu Atoll you can explore more than 40 pristine reefs, thilas, channels, wrecks and caves bursting with vibrant marine life and healthy corals. As it’s the only resort in the atoll you won’t run into other groups of divers at the dive sites either. Filitheyo also offers a range of dive courses for uncertified divers or anyone wanting to further their training, and UV night dives (fluro dives) on the house reef – an incredible way of seeing the remarkable underwater world!

House Reef
If you’re both certified divers, once you’ve completed an orientation dive you’re free to discover the house reef with your buddy. The house reef has seven marked access points and dive highlights include ghost pipefish, napoleon wrasse, frogfish, reef sharks, nurse sharks, small caves and two wrecks.

Manta Point
This dive site is a cleaning station located between about 15 and 30 metres. Between December and April is the best time to see the magnificent manta rays. During this period the dive boat goes there two to three times per week. The full day trip includes two dives.

Channel Dives
Channel dives in Faafu Atoll are not to be missed. Here in the channels between the thilas you’re likely to see large grey reef sharks, eagle rays and napoleon wrasses amongst a wealth of other large fish – an experience not to be missed.

Jumping Jack
This is a very colourful site where you can spot big groupers, moray eels, jacks, black tip reef sharks, white tip reef sharks, grey reef sharks and napoleon wrasses. It consists of seven adjacent thilas in a channel.

Cliffhanger
Cliffhanger is a ‘faru’ in the local language. A faru is a kind of underwater wall, so you follow the wall during the dive and complete it usually amongst the very nice coral garden which lies between zero and five metres. Sometimes you can spot manta rays, nurse sharks, eagle rays and white tip reef sharks as well as a host of schooling fish.

Repeater’s Paradise
The site was given its name because once divers have seen it they keep going back for more! The site consists of a beautiful overhang and wall where you can spot tuna, stingrays and reef sharks amongst the attractive hard and soft coral and schooling fish.
