Feb 2012 Issue - 'An Indonesian Odyssey'
"Bonnie Jackson, from Equator Diving set up the trip for us and organised all of our accommodation, diving, internal flights and the group trip. Bonnie is Indonesian, and a passionate diver herself. Importantly, she was able to navigate the local airline booking procedures that can be a bit difficult, and also get the best deals and schedules."
April 2012 Issue - 'Ambon - The New Macro Destination'
"If you have dived Lembeh and would like to see less divers and more critters, Ambon should be your next destination. Equator Diving sorted out all of our internal flights as well as the diving with Maluka Divers. We cannot wait to go back!"
Welcome to Equator Diving
At Equator Diving we specialise in diving holidays that get you up close and personal with Big Fish, forgotten WWII Wrecks and the world's strangest Macro Critters, all at incredible destinations along the earth's Equator. The Equator is approximately 40,000km long and as it passes around the world it encounters some of the most spectacular dive locations our planet has to offer. Galapagos, Maldives, Micronesia and Indonesia are amongst the highlights, but to explore all the waters will take you a lifetime. At Equator Diving we have the local knowledge to get you to the more remote, off the beaten track locations, whilst ensuring that your journey is as smooth as possible.
Dive sites around the equator offer everything a diver could wish for, from the famed macro critters of Indonesia's Lembeh Strait, to the WWII Wrecks of Truk Lagoon. And then there are the big fish encounters... Mola Mola coming up with the currents in Bali, Whale Sharks sucking on fisherman's nets in Cendrawasih Bay, the awe inspiring sight of schooling Hammerheads at Cocos Island and the Manta congregations in the Maldives.
