Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands reward adventurous divers with some of the richest waters on our planet. During our 10 night trip on Solomons PNG Master Liveaboard we will venture from Rabaul in PNG to Munda in the Solomon Islands on a unique PNG to Solomons combo trip in search of Sharks, Mantas, Dolphins, Turtles, schooling fish in countless numbers and plenty of weird and wonderful critters. We’ll also dive ship and plane wrecks and visit some villages on route!

PNG & Solomons Navigator 10 night itinerary
The trip starts in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea on 25 March 2019 and ends in Munda, Solomon Islands on 4 April 2019. During the trip you’ll dive areas including Rabaul (New Britain, PNG), Lamassa (New Ireland, PNG), Bougainville Island (PNG), Fauro Island (Solomons), Shortland Island (Solomons), Vella Lavella Island (Solomons), Gizo (Solomons) and Munda (New Georgia, Solomons). There will also be some land excursions to visit villages with a long history of headhunting and cannibalism along the route.

Solomons PNG Master is a custom designed diving vessel with 12 cabins accommodating up to 20 guests and a crew of 12 including your dive team, skipper, boat crew and chefs. Inside she boasts a huge lounge and dining area with DVDs, large TVs and a dedicated camera area for photographers. Spend time sharing your photos from your adventure, reading a book from the library or just hanging out in air conditioned comfort. If you prefer to relax outside, there is a large sun deck complete with loungers where you can catch some sun as the world goes by, and on the second deck, there is an expansive covered seating area where you can just sit back and relax. The dive deck has toilets, freshwater showers and freshwater rinse tanks for equipment. Each dive station has ample storage for your equipment above and below your station. Most dives are done directly off the dive platform with a tender in the water for additional safety. Two ladders from the dive platform provide easy access to and from the water.

The cost of the trip is 4,775 GBP (5,740 USD) in an upper-deck Double/Twin cabin with private bathroom or 4,075 GBP (4,895 USD) in a lower-deck Single cabin with shared bathroom. These prices include 10 nights on Solomons PNG Master, up to 4 dives per day (inc night dive), tanks/weights/weight belts, all meals, snacks, fresh coffee, tea, juices, and return transfers between local airport and the vessel on the day of embarkation and disembarkation. Flights are not included in the price, but can be readily arranged by Equator Diving upon request.
